Q1. How do I create a guard patrolling path and checkpoints?

Follow these steps:

Step 1: Open Patrolling

• Log in to the dashboard.
• Click Patrolling from the main menu.

Step 2: Open Patrolling Setup

• Click Patrolling Setup to manage patrolling paths and checkpoints.

Step 3: Create a New Path

• Click + Path.

Step 4: Add Path Details

• Enter the Path Name.
• Click Add.
• Your patrolling path is now created.

Step 5: Select the newly created path to add checkpoints and Click +Checkpoints.

Step 6: Create Checkpoints

• Enter the Checkpoint Name.
• Click Add.
• Repeat these steps for all required checkpoints.

Step 7: Print or Save QR Codes

• Click Print QR Code for each checkpoint.
• Print or save the QR code and place it at the corresponding checkpoint.

Your patrolling path and checkpoints are now ready.

Q2. How do I enable the Live Photo and Observation option during guard patrolling?

To enable guards to capture a live photo and enter observations while scanning a checkpoint, you must first create a checklist.

Step 1: Open Asset & PPM

• Click Asset & PPM from the dashboard.

Step 2: Open Checklist

• From the left panel, click Checklist.

Step 3: Create a Checklist

• Enter a checklist name, for example:
  Guard Patrolling Checklist

Step 4: Build the Checklist

• Click Build Task.

• Click + Instruction.

Step 5: Add Photo and Observation Fields

• Enter the Title or Questionnaire.
• Select the Image Attachment option to enable live photo capture.
• If required, add an observation or remarks field.
• Click Add.

Step 6: Assign the Checklist to a Checkpoint

• Go back to Patrolling Setup.
• Select the required Path.
• Select the checkpoint.
• Click the Checklist option for that checkpoint.

Step 7: Assign the Checklist

• Select the checklist you created.
• Click Assign.

The checklist is now linked to the selected checkpoint.

Q3. What happens when a guard scans the checkpoint QR code?

Once the checklist is assigned:

• The guard scans the checkpoint QR code using the mobile application.
• The assigned checklist opens automatically.
• The guard must capture a live photo using the Image Attachment option.
• The guard can enter observations or remarks in the checklist.
• After completing the checklist, the guard submits the patrol record.
