Leave Management in FacTech – Configure Leave Types and Mark Staff Leave

Manage Staff Leave, Holidays & Week-Offs Easily

We are pleased to introduce the Leave Management feature in FacTech, which allows administrators to configure different types of leave and mark leaves, holidays, or week-offs for staff members from a single place.

With this feature, Admins can create customized leave types, define their applicable categories, and easily mark leave for any staff member based on their requirement.

What is Leave Management?

Leave Management allows administrators to maintain staff leave records digitally.

Admins can:

  • Configure different leave types
  • Define leave categories
  • Set maximum allowed days
  • Configure paid or unpaid leave
  • Enable carry-forward options
  • Mark leave for individual staff members
  • Add remarks related to a leave

This makes it easier to maintain accurate staff availability records.

How to Configure and Mark Staff Leave?

The process involves two simple steps:

Configure Leave Type → Mark Leave for Staff

Before marking a leave, make sure the required Leave Type has already been configured.

The following fields are mandatory while creating a Leave Type:

  • Leave Type Abbreviation
  • Category

Other fields can be configured according to the organization’s requirements. Once the required details have been entered, click Save.

The Leave Type is now configured and ready to use.

Step 3: Search for the Staff Member

Once the Leave Type is configured, you can mark leave for any staff member.

  1. In Leave Management, locate the Name / Mobile search field.
  2. Search for the staff member using:
    • Staff Name, or
    • Mobile Number
  3. Select the required staff member from the suggested results.

The selected staff member’s details will be displayed.

Step 4: Mark Leave for the Staff

After selecting the staff member:

  1. Click “+ Mark Leave”.
  2. Select the Date
  3. Select the required Leave Type from the configured Leave Types.
  4. Add a Remark, if required.

Once all the required information has been entered, click Mark Leave.

The leave will now be marked for the selected staff member for the specified date or date range.
