In the Factech application, complaints cannot be deleted once they have been created. To ensure data integrity and maintain an audit trail, the system provides an option to Cancel<\/strong> a complaint instead of deleting it.<\/p>\n

If a complaint is created by mistake, is no longer valid, or does not require further action, users with the appropriate permissions can change its status to Cancelled<\/strong>. This preserves the complaint history while preventing any further processing of the complaint.<\/p>\n

Step 1: Log in<\/p>\n

Log in to the Factech application using a user account that has permission to change the complaint status.<\/p>\n

Step 2: Open the Complaint Dashboard<\/p>\n

Navigate to:<\/p>\n

Complaint \u2192 Complaint Dashboard<\/p>\n

Step 3: Search for the Complaint<\/p>\n

Locate the complaint that you want to cancel. You can use the available search or filter options to find the required complaint quickly.<\/p>\n

Step 4: Edit the Complaint<\/p>\n

Click the Edit button available on the right side of the complaint.<\/p>\n

Step 5: Change the Status<\/p>\n

On the complaint details page:<\/p>\n

Click the Cancel from the dropdown list.<\/p>\n

Verify the complaint details before proceeding.<\/p>\n

Step 6: Save the Changes<\/p>\n

Click Update Complaint to save the changes.<\/p>\n

The complaint status will be updated to Cancelled.<\/p>\n

Notes
\nOnly users with the required permissions can cancel a complaint.
\nOnce a complaint is cancelled, it will no longer remain active for further processing.
